Tracey Williams-Davis born in Evansville, IN, but reared in Northern Indiana, by her loving parents, came to know Christ at the young age of nine.  She and her two siblings spent every summer with their loving grandparents in Evansville.  At age fifteen she was baptized a second time by the late Rev. William Payne at McClure Memorial Baptist Church where her grandfather, the late Deacon James Weatherford and her late great-grandmother Prince Weatherford for were faithful long-standing members.

In strides toward educational attainment, Tracey received her Bachelors of Science Degree in Nursing and minor in Preforming Arts from Indiana University.  She continued her passion for learning when she returned to college earning an Associate’s Degree in Accounting and in Business and is presently working toward a degree in counseling.  During her nursing career she has worked at St. Catherine’s Hospital in East Chicago, Visiting Nurse Association and St. Mary’s in Evansville.  Prior to her present employment with the Evansville Vanderburgh School Corporation she was the YMCA Outreach Community Director.

Preceding the move to Evansville nineteen years ago, after losing husband in fatal automobile accident, Tracey was an active church member at Spirit of God Fellowship-West, where her father-in-law, Victor L. Davis is the Senior Pastor.   While at Memorial she’s been an active member of the Evangelism Team, Voices of Praise Choir, Church School Ministry, New Members Class, Women’s Ministry, Youth Ministry, and Wedding Ministry as well as being certified to teach the Indiana Healthy Marriage Coalition Curriculum.

Tracey believes in servant leadership that is exercised through modeling, mentoring and life coaching.  Consumed with making a positive impact in the lives of people and helping them become who God has called them to be she continues to lay hold of the mission God purposed in her life for His glory.  On November 19, 2006, she humbly accepted the assignment of Pastor Adrian M. Brooks and was ordained as one of the Deaconess’ of the McClure Memorial Baptist Church.

She is active in a variety of civic and cultural organizations including Habitat for Humanity, Feed our Starving Children, Kiwanis Club, Evansville Bar Association Diversity Committee, S.T.E.M., S.E.L.T, Leadership Evansville, and the one dear to her heart CASA.  Outside of professional interest, she enjoys traveling, reading, the theater, attending Christian conferences, and spending time with family.
