Leader: Rev. Jeremi Taylor

Rev. Jeremi Taylor

Rev. Jeremi A. Taylor is a native of Evansville IN born in Princeton, IN.  Rev .Taylor attended Rend Lake Jr. College on a full ride Basketball Scholarship, where he studied Secondary Education in 2000. He was called to preach the gospel in 2010 and has always had a passion for youth of all ages. In 2011, he graduated from Crossroads Bible College of Indianapolis, IN, where he received a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Leadership and Ministry.

 

He served as Direct Assistant and Executive Minister at New Direction Christian Church located in Indianapolis IN under the Leadership of Kenneth Sullivan Jr. He currently works for CAPE (Community Action Program of Evansville) as an Assistant Teacher in the all boys Preschool class.  God has graced him to be a direct influence and impact on the inner city youth in the Evansville area.

Rev. Taylor is the Assistant Pastor of Youth and Young Adults at Memorial Baptist Church in Evansville IN under the leadership of Pastor Adrian M. Brooks, Sr.  where he  conducts Bible Study at the Youth Care Center in Evansville IN, does counseling sessions with youth and young adults, has coached several Basketball teams and trained up and coming players, and  has the My Brothers Keeper Mentorship program. God has entrusted him with children of all age groups and ranges as he has spent his last 24 years working with youth in some capacity. He instructs on Civil Rights, Black History and loves the art of teaching and learning.

Rev. Taylor is the father of two precious daughters Maleia and Jalese Taylor.
